Veterinary Education University of Toulouse
Post Graduated Specialisation course in behaviour medicine, with certification as “vétérinaire comportementaliste des écoles veterinaries nationales françaises” (3 week course around 120 hours: ethology, cognition, learning theories, behaviour medicine, etc., memoir with 9 clinical cases and short thesis. Examination: written exam for theory, thesis presentation and consultation of a (randomly selected) clinical case in front of a jury).

Formation diplômante "Vétérinaire Comportementaliste" of the French National Veterinary Schools (ENVs)
4 weeks course over 2 years (2 wks / year). Open to veterinary surgeons with at least 3 years of general practice and relevant courses in clinical ethology (T1pro ENVT, or GECAF). There are limited numbers for this course and it can only take a maximum of 20 French vets and 5 non-French vets. All the courses are given in French so students do need to be fluent in French to participate.
Content: Fundamental Ethology, Clinical Ethology, Applied Ethology, Clinical cases, Pharmacology, Anatomy (Brain and nervous system), Physiology - relevant to behavior.
Accreditation is given by the 4 French Veterinay Schools (Alfort-ENVA, Lyon-ENVL, Toulouse-ENVT and Nantes-ENVN) - Diplome de vétérinaire comportementaliste des Ecoles Vétérinaires Françaises
